I haven’t written any commentary for this strip yet.
Transcript| HOMELESS MONKEY | Excuse me, sir, but how come my favorite webcomic seems very familiar today? |
| RICH MONKEY | Well, son, it has to do with the cartoonist missing a day... |
| RICH MONKEY | When a traditional print cartoonist goes on a brief holiday, his syndicate will usually run a repeate of a beloved older strip in place of a new one... |
| RICH MONKEY | But the ready availability of an online strip's archives makes that practice redundant for webcomics. Add to that the fact that they don't really have any "beloved" strips to begin with, and the artist is obliged to add some half-assed filler material! |
| HOMELESS MONKEY | So, the cartoonist will just slap some pathetic new dialogue onto an old strip, just to seem like he's working? |
| RICH MONKEY | Makes you sad for our culture, doesn't it, son? |
