RIP Richard Pryor
December 10th, 2005I overheard someone this evening saying that Richard Pryor was dead. So as soon as I got home I checked out CNN and was saddened to see that it was true.
Why can’t they make comedians this funny anymore? I mean, I like Eddie Izzard, and Dave Chapelle makes me laugh, but there doesn’t seem to be anyone with the effortless, natural talent that Richard Pryor had. He had comedy coming out of every pore. I’d say I’ll miss him, but of course since he’s been sick we’ve been missing him for years.
I suggest everyone go out and honor his memory by hitting Jerry Seinfeld or some other crap comic with a brick. Then when he’s down, start pissing on his head, shouting “What is the deal with people pissing on my head?? Who are these people??” Then run away looking for Carrot Top.
