New ad
December 11th, 2005I’ve put a new Monkey Law banner ad up on the Banners page — it’s a bit large, so I doubt if anyone’s going to want to put it on their site for free. What I plan to do is spend a few bucks and buy a couple days on Something Positive, which is a very popular webcomic that apparently generates lots of hits for the strips that advertise there. I think there would be some overlap between people who enjoy the humor of SP and those who enjoy Monkey Law. At least I hope so. For $25 a day, there’d better be. But that strip is recommended as a great place to advertise (as well as being recommended as a great strip) by the Websnark among others… so what the hell.
If you like the new ads, feel free to stick them on your site if you want, as long as you link them to www.monkeylaw.org. I’m currently working on some new horizontal banners, in the traditional 88×31 and 468×60 sizes as well, as the old ones are a little on the bland side.
