Sliding standards

Finally, it’s done! Sorry for the delay, guys, but this strip took a lot more work than I thought it was going to. (It was going to be a simple cut-and-paste job to save time… ha!)

Anyway, this is based on… well… every job search I’ve ever been on, really.

Oh, in other news, my SpinZone colleague Scott Morris has also completed the transition to WordPress, and he’s got a slick new site design to show for it! Check out his comic, Debt On, I guarantee you’ll like it.

    Ha! Great strip, I definitely can relate to the theme. You know, I worked for the Sierra Club one election day, and then they “forgot” to pay me. Democrats won and everything. >:-(

    I worked for Fannie Mae. It not only handled mortgages for disadvantaged people, it handled something like 45% of ALL the mortgages in America. Well, single-family-home mortgages, which doesn’t include apartments, commercial buildings, etc.

    I knew plenty of monkeys there.

    I didn’t know that. You’d think from their commercials on NPR that they were Mother Freakin’ Teresa.
