Woohoo! Hot mama! There are just not enough images out there of Condi as a woman, real or otherwise. And to section9 I say: lighten up, please. 1) It is a cartoon, and a web comic, the lowest form of cartoon (sorry Brad, you know I love the strip, just keeping it real), B) Brad is entitled to make all the assumptions he wants. This is his forum, not a national news station with obligations to report accurate statements of fact and not opinions or fabrications (FOX News, anyone), and 4th) Please, I've known Dubya since he was the Honorless Gubnor of Texas. I even spoke with him once or twice (nothing major, just public gatherings) Trust me when I say, he is not worth the benefit of the doubt when someone accuses him without any "properly documented facts" of being opinionated, borderline rascist, classist, elitest, or anything else. His people have gone to the greatest lengths imaginable to keep him completely and utterly outside of public record with anything other than what they have scripted for him. That smokescreen can't be just to cover up the fact that the man is not a great off-the-cuff speaker. To mangle the saying, where there's a smokescreen, there's bound to be inflammatory business.

You're absolutely right. There's no factual evidence that George W. Bush would think it was appropriate to say such things. We do know that he seems to have a malfunctioning sense of social propriety, what with massaging German chancellors and all, but comments like "jungle jigaboo" are purely comic exaggeration.

No, we don't know that. You're making assumptions which aren't warranted by any known facts. One of the reasons the two are very close friends is that Bush treats Rice with deep respect. I don't think Rice would have it any other way.
