You know what? Julian and Steven’s house is boring. I meant to add a little furniture, but time got away from me. That furniture was to include a shelf of records. As it stands now, it seems Sugar Monkey pulled that Bette Midler LP out of thin air. Maybe that’s how she passes the time when bored — works on her magic act.
This comic is notable for having been originated entirely in the computer. I am starting to get the hang of the Wacom… I think my style loosens up a bit, and I am eager to experiment further.
Transcript| Julian: | Don’t worry about it, monkey angst... we don’t mind at all! It’s always nice having her over... We’re having a great time! |
| Sugar Monkey: | No we're not! |
| Sugar Monkey: | This place is boring! You don’t have any cool toys, or games, or anything! You don’t even have any good movies! |
| Sugar Monkey: | Even your cds are weird! They’re too big to fit in the player, and they all have pictures of ugly ladies on them! |
| Steven: | You make an excellent point! To the mall! |
| Julian: | There, there, Miss M... She didn't mean those nasty things... |

I now see one thing I’m going to need to work on with this Wacom — the characters are a little… uh… diagonal. Huh.

That was one of my first problems when I bought a wacom a couple years ago. I’ve always had a tendency to draw with my paper at an angle, so naturally when I got the wacom I tried to do the same thing. That didn’t turn out so well. After a lot of practice though I can now sort of draw straight lines with the thing.
