I think I’d be a bad father. I don’t know, maybe it’s something that most college-educated American men in their thirties think, but I really do think I’d be spectacularly bad at the job. Maybe it’s because I overthink half the things I do (or don’t do, because I’m busy overthinking them) and the other half I simply act on impulse. I can easily see a kid becoming incredibly confused by that, if not dead as a result of some stupid thing I did.

| Julian: | Look how worried he is. Think how scary it must be, to have such a fragile little life in your care, every minute of every day... |
| Steven: | Terrifying! |
| Julian: | Steven, I want a child. |

As bad as you think you would be, you can’t be a worse parent than George and Barbara. Ya know?
